A public awareness campaign shedding a light on the artificially limited useful life of consumer electronics.
Manufacturers of consumer electronics make use of different measures to deliberately make your product fail or unrepairable. This practice is called planned obsolescence, and has taken on excessive forms. ‘Be Aware. Repair.’ shows how absurd these measures actually are. Subsequently, the campaign calls for action to fix your own products to become less of a blind consumer.
MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY is the umbrella event on which the iArts graduates show their works. This is where philosophy is born in coffee houses, fixing becomes the new replacing, science and fantasy create the female anatomy, communication transforms into confrontation and bodies become fluid.
